End Slavery Vacancies
Opportunities exist to join our existing End Slavery Teams in Australia and Greece and our emerging teams in other parts of the world.
End Slavery Team – Australia
We are growing an End Slavery Team in Australia to help raise awareness of issues of trafficking and slavery among churches and to resource, equip and empower the Australian church to take action –
The team needs interns, volunteers, and full time team members to develop this new team. Opportunities to serve with the team include:
- volunteer coordination,
- consulting with churches,
- prayer team coordination, and
- overseas liaison.
There are also opportunities to start prayer teams in your church or with a group of friends.
Nea Zoi (“New Life”) Team – Athens, Greece
Nea Zoi reaches out to women and men working in prostitution in Athens, many of whom are victims of human trafficking. The team offers hope, assistance, support and alternatives, desiring to see men and women empowered by God for a new life.
Opportunities currently exist for interns or missionaries (1-2 years or longer) to serve in the following roles:
- regular street outreach,
- IT and graphic design,
- job skills training,
- social workers,
- counsellors, and
- cultural mediation.
Outreach is a significant part of the ministry of the Nea Zoi Team and they would welcome those passionate about reaching out to those in prostitution.
Desirable, but not essential…
People with ability to speak Greek, Bulgarian, Romanian or Russian, would be a significant blessing to the team.
